Q21. Do you rent out Adult DVD’s?

Q. What is The Rentertainer?
A. The Rentertainer is a game and video library service where members
pay a monthly membership fee that goes towards the purchase of new games,
postage, and running of the site and service.
All members may lend games, DVD's and hardware free of charge while they remain
a member of the library provided they look after and return them if they cancel
their membership. Because you are not renting each item there are no late fees,
penalties or other charges relating to the loan of your item. To ensure that
there is enough to go around we have placed a limit of two items out at a time.
There may however be an extra charge on the lending of some hardware items to
cover the higher costs of postage, insurance and handling of these items.
-
-
Q. Why are we only allowed 2 items at a time?
A.
It all comes down to maths. If we have 1000 members and they all take out 2
items each that means we have to buy at least 2000 items. Add to that the fact
that most people will want the same items and you can begin to see the problem.
By limiting everyone to 2 items at a time we are trying to encourage people to
rotate their games whilst still allowing them to keep them as long as needed to
finish playing them.
-
-
Q. How many mail outs can I have per month?
A.There is no limit to the number of mail outs you can have per
month. As soon as we receive your returned game or games we will send you out
the next batch immediately.
-
-
Q. Do I need to buy any games?
A.
No. This is not a games exchange service. Rather it is a library service with
no due dates, as long as you pay your monthly membership fee you can keep
taking games out at no extra costs.
-
-
Q. Do you charge for postage?
A.
No. Full return postage for standard game loans is included in your membership
fee. There may however be an extra postage charge for some hardware items to
cover the higher postage, insurance and handling costs
-
-
Q. How many games can I have per month?
A.
As part of the standard membership you may have up to 2 games out at any one
time and have as many mail outs as you like. This means that the number of
games you can have in a year is purely limited by how long it takes you to play
them and for Australia post to deliver them.
-
-
Q. How long can I keep each game?
A.
As long as you remain a member you can keep a game as long as you like, just
send it back once your sick of it and want a new game.
-
-
Q. I have lost the return paid envelope. What do I do?
A. Simply place the items you wish to return in a standard C5 size
envelope and address it to :

Please include a note with your members login name and email address with the
game.
-
Q. What if a game is faulty?
A. If a game is faulty then simply return it using the reply paid
envelope and include a note describing your problems so that we may review the
game and/or replace the faulty disk in our stock.
Please note that all disks are checked before being sent out and excessive
returns due with damaged disks may result in a charge to you.

-
Q. What can I do to have the best chance of getting
games when I want?
A. To help ensure that you always have games on hand we recommend that
you have at least 10 games in your request list at any time.
It is also a good idea to not limit all your games to new release's as these
are often sort after by most members and there may be a waiting list. All our
games are allocated based on when you last received a game and when you
requested a particular game. This ensures that people who have been waiting the
longest get first go at any games. You should also leave games you want in your
request list rather than continually removing and re adding them as this will
put you to the back of the list for that particular game.
-
-
Q. I can't find the game I want in your lists?
A. We try to keep a good selection of both new and old games however if
you want a particular game and we do not have it listed then please feel free
to contact us
with the name, manufacturer and console type and we will see if we can get hold
of it.
-
-
Q. What happens if a game is listed as being shipped
but I never receive it?
A.
All our games are sent via Australia post and we have a very low rate of lost
games. If however you do not receive a game, or if you send a game back and we
do not get it, then please wait 7 days after the sending of the games and if
they have still not arrived let us know via email and we will remove it from
your list. If the game then turns up at some later date please forward it to us
immediately. Please note that we track the rate of lost games for any user and
if you have multiple lost games you should report it to Australia post. We
reserve the right to bill any user for the full price of games that are lost or
damaged, particularly if there are multiple occurrences for any account.

-
Q. I'm not happy with your service and want my money
back. What do I do?
A. If you are not happy with our service for any reason then please
contact us
us immediately so that we can address your concerns. We do our best for all our
members and if there is anything wrong then please let us know so that we can
rectify it.
-
-
Q. Am I allowed to make a copy of any games?
A.
Absolutely NOT. It is against the law to make a copy of any copyright games or
DVD, if you are found doing so your account will be immediately terminated and
you may be reported to the authorities. Anyway, why would you want to make a
copy of our games if you can simply just take them out again at any time and
keep them as long as you like?
-
-
Q. I do not have internet access. Can I still join?
A. Yes. TheRentertainer is the first online game rental company to
actually offer you a complete offline service. Our "Mail Only" plan allows you
to participate in our program without any internet access whatsoever.
We will send you out a catalogue of games at the beginning of each month and
you simple make a list of the games that you want and send it back in the reply
paid envelope. From then on we will simple send you out the next games in the
list.
-
-
Q. If I am a Mail Only member can I access my account
online?
A.
Yes. If you do not have regular internet access but can occasionally log on
through a friends account or from an internet café then you are free to update
your games list and other details online. When you sign up for a Mail Only
account we will create a user ID and password for you to use if you ever do go
online.
-
-
Q. I don't like giving my credit card details over the
internet. Can I signup by mail?

page, give us your postal address and a contact number and we will send you out
a signup form. You then simply fill it in and return it using the supplied
reply paid envelope.

-

A.

a manual is not available it will be listed as such in the games description.
-
-

Q. Do you rent out Adult DVD’s?
A. Recently we have had a number of queries relating to R and X rated
